Virginians Against Neighborhood Slot Machines was formed in 2024 to bring attention to the issue of “skill” games in Virginia, an illegal form of gambling becoming increasingly popular in other states. The coalition is comprised of a diverse range of voices, including public safety and law enforcement officials, pastors and religious groups, members of Virginia’s equine industry and charitable gaming organizations, and others, who are united in their opposition to the proliferation of “skill” game machines in our Commonwealth.
