Same Story, Different Day: More “Skill” Game Robberies
ICYMI – Police in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, are searching for two suspects accused of robbing a so-called “skill” game at a Manheim Township sports bar earlier this month.
From the report:
“According to the Manheim Township Police Department, the two individuals managed to gain access to the machine and steal approximately $500 [from a local sports bar]. Police are asking the public for help in identifying the two people of interest.”
If this story sounds familiar, that’s because it is.
Less than a month ago, here in Virginia, a Henry County man held store clerks at gunpoint while attempting to rob a convenience store operating “skill” games. Thankfully, no one was harmed and the suspect was arrested and charged…
Two months ago, a convicted felon attempted to rob a “skill” game machine in Johnstown, PA. This scene turned violent with gunfire – and the suspect was found to have a lengthy criminal rap sheet, even including a prior conviction for illegal firearm possession…
And just three months ago, authorities uncovered an organized crime ring responsible for a string of robberies targeting “skill” games across western Pennsylvania.
It’s time to do Virginians a favor and get these illegal machines OUT of our neighborhoods.
