ICYMI: Another Day, Another “Skill” Game-Related Crime Committed
ICYMI – Once again, Pennsylvania communities continue to bear the brunt of impacts from shady “skill” games.
Just last week in Hamilton Township (Franklin County, PA), a group entered a store, broke into a “skill” game machine, and proceeded to steal over $5,000 in cash. Perhaps most surprisingly, the individuals involved with the robbery felt comfortable enough to do this in broad daylight, robbing the store at 12:45 p.m.
The ongoing presence of these devices in places like Pennsylvania and Virginia will continue to attract criminal activity and put citizens in harm’s way.
Virginia officials must remain vigilant in their opposition to these harmful machines and encourage law enforcement to continue enforcing the ban to keep these machines out of stores across the Commonwealth.
